A way to get crashed:
1. Join the server and dont spawn.
2. If there is a player near the spawn point, he will shoot ur "ghost-skin".
3. If u will get 0 hp, spawn, and be crashed :).

It's not a bug, someone just increased the gamespeed. The wanted level thingy is also a feature.

Small echoscript bug to report, the autoset fails because there is no separation character between "3" and ";" causing the script to assume the echo change query is 3;

that is, if i remember any mirc scripting correctly :P, and if not, the problem is obvious

this version is really bugged and we post here the crash/bugs/lags/other for fixing

for example: when there are a lot of players (20/30), I crash every 2 mins and now, when there are 3/4 players, I played 1 hour without crashes.

other thing: wtf is the fast moving? I had this in 0.3z rc1. why? (when i join, after 20-25 mins, the game run fastly, and others say me speed hacker, I need to stand-by my pc to delete this "bug"
Note:I reinstalled my vc and my vc-mp and nothing changed)

You can see the video I posted, Strike said that was all scripted.

Tical, some new features:
*Sniper almost working.
*Rocket launcher working.
*New animations.
*New HP and Armour indicators.
*Different fighting, while someone falls down in 0.3z, you shoot at feet, in this version you must shoot above the player, at the air.

if the bug you are talking about is not from the gamespeed being changed nico, it is a bug with your processor[assuming you have an AMD processor]

look for the AMD processor patch online.

the patch fixes a bug with AMD processors.

often, there's 2 different things that can happen.
the game can ignore the frame limiters[for example in san andreas, vice city].

the other thing that can happen is you can get lag from some problem or another[I don't know exact details] and instead of your game running at the steady fps or going lower, the settings can skip frames in order to keep the game at 'realtime', which can give the game the illusion that you have a much higher fps than you get, and a much faster level of play.

I may be wrong though, this is just what I heard from someone else[never had this problem myself]

Anyway, this WAS working before, nowadays setting Win98 compatibility doesnt work, the browser even dont start... Ok, there is VR's one but it doesnt have this funny messages about Public Beta ;D.

But now seriously. Its a disgrace, that for so many years, the team couldnt fix a simple bug... No comment :@.

Btw. crash. Are the logs helpful for devs :)? Because i cant read for example nothing from this log :(. Anyway, my IM e.g. uses EurekaLog when it crash. Eureka log isnt free anyway, but its really good. Example: screen http://www.eurekalog.com/screenshot.php?src=docs/hlp_gui_dlg1.gif. The logs contain much informations and simple users can read them and try to avoid some bugs that crash, in the future :P. And logs can be directly sent to the devs and they are trying to fix it ;).

@NC, it is still working for me. No problems with original and VR.

And don't worry about logs. They don't collect them 'for fun'. I'm sure they can read them or have a program for it.

Crash logs are not supposed to be readable by end-users. Trust me, they do contain all the basic information we need. Every crash is so different and complex that no AI could improve the selection of data sent. I manually analyze the data of each crash, and using that information I start chasing down the reasons why it could happen. No software can do that. Not with this type of application anyway.

Using something like EurekaLog would actually make it multiple times more difficult to analyze crashlogs, because it sends so much useless information, cannot be customized properly, cannot be integrated with the server and most of its features require the source code of the application, which we obviously don't have for VC.

OK, nice to hear it, that these logs are useful :). But dont forget about adding new things btw :).

As i said, that WORKED for me. And i dont see any reasons, why this bug shouldnt be fixed v_v. Now a completely noob will download VCMP, will exit this and boom! He will think "wtf is this? Im going to delete VCMP" ;o.

And about the browser. In these betatests something new was entering the car as passenger. I dont think that TAB is a good key [or maybe it was changed since i last played VCMP :P?]. So why not adding in the menu a tab "Controls" where players can set keys what they like! E.g. for entering as passenger, for viewing scoreboards etc. Not everyone likes the scoreboard hidden under one of this Function keys :(.

Here is my idea for this: simple and keys like the player like!  8)

You fly a car the same way you fly a skimmer. It uses the same buttons.

I am not quite sure what you meant and that video didn't really help :-\, but you probably hit F4 by mistake. If you were referring to the missing name tag. You can toggle the name tag display by press F4.

I think he means that even if the player is behind a wall, you will still see his Name Tag...

There is no beta client, just the flt file you must install.
The browser is the same in both 0.3z and 0.3z rc2 beta
