Well, I can be mistaken, but it is usually up to beta test oranizers to organize things in a way for other people to test effectively. I'm not an organizer, just a mere announcer. :x

For instance, I could say that 0.4 supports objects, but there're just none on the server. So far you can see that browser's fixed and shotgun fall animations are proper (though longer).

Creating objects, moving them, rotating, deleting. Look at the "close and open jail door too".

Anyone else noticed a couple of bugs?

what's the different with r2 ?
1) Object support (shown on vid).
2) Lots of new pawn functions (can't test these yet).
3) Lots of bug fixes (a full list will be avaliable later I think).
4) New shotgun falling animations (more like r1).

EDIT: Seems to happen to quite a few people. My bet is that crashes upon connecting are caused by the forementioned objects testing. -_-

You mean with that objects? Well the sync of players on a moving object sucks but like Falcon said, they want for now test if objects are working, then work on the sync.

btw. i dont get it why we first create an object with !object and then use !spawn, to move it. Is !spawn something like an "activate" command?

So that you control whom to spawn show to.
E.g. you create an object and spawn (show) it to only one specific player (or two).

I thought that crash report are saved in a file at server-side and we dont need to post them here?

Please remove the "you-cant-drive-when-typing-on-chat" :]. Now when i write something using SHIFT, my heli was flying "backwards" :<.

there is some weird bug in the server, when players spawn i see them with tommy skin(but they didnt choose that skin), and they see me with tommy skin (when i didnt spawn as tommy) but in my pc im not as tommy D:

Do you get an exception window? If not, it's likely your VC freezes. The only known restart crash was fixed yesterday. :/

CTF: Why blue/green home pickups ::) ?
*objects. Well, I needed a paired couple of similar objects of different colors. The possible options were houses and drugs (IDs 502-507), but I found houses more notable.

I didnt see the skins on spawnscreen.
The idea is to show flag pickups so that people know where to go, since there are no markers/icons currently :( . Skins just don't have enough place to be shown.

And after loading the Lost mode gta_vc.exe got APPCRASH.

maybe add sniper, set an icon to each base, hide the players from the radar, and when someone get the flag, that person is going to be showed in the radar o_O

Icons are currently impossible as I mentioned.

Like the idea of invisible players + snipers though. Prevents from DMing much too.

In my opinion
0.4 = beta
beta = unstable thing
unstable thing = only for experienced players
experienced players = know where to put an flt file ;)

Btw. the "old-new" browser seems to having a memory leak :c... It used max 873 000 K and thats more then 850 MB ram? o/o Even an alpha version of FireFox called Minefeld has used max 354 000 K....
