VCMP Patches
Done by VicePlayers, [VU]Stormeus, and [VU]Shadow with great help from eeew


This is an extension for VCMP Enhancement ASI. You are strongly advised to remove previous .asi before using this one.

This dll provides a black chatbox which adjusts by F7 presses and can be toggled off by simply pressing F9 and colour fix.

See below.


In order to install, remove the previous VCMPEnchantment.asi, and put the .asi in your GTA-VC directory/mss.

Note: You can place it in the directory, but to keep organised, it's best to put it in rootvcfolder/mss.



After this, you are free to start the game in singleplayer or VC:MP, but beware that VC:MP patches will only work if VC:MP is running.

Chatbox appears as soon as chat appears. Read What is this for usage.

I tried to add it in vcroot, still not work. I changed .asi to .flt, still not work. I changed .asi to .dll and put it in vcroot, and still not work.

EDIT: It works now, I put it in another VC/mss , and works :s

It is happening for me too if I'm pressing many times F7 fast.

About its "disable" : If you are pressing F9, It hides the black box, but it is returning if you pressing F7 until the chat dissappear and then once more to reload the chat.

Yes! What you're seeing is multicoloured messages in VCMP 0.3z R2!

I will release it as soon as I clean up the code.

Note: This server is not mine, it was randomly chosen.
Note2: In order to add colours, a loop replacing ASCII characters was NOP'd, thus I cannot guarantee stability but as long as the server messages are fine, it should all work.

That's wrong.
I can say that both devs and testers ( and I can name maxorator, Stormeus, VRocker, Hanney, Castagna, Murdock, Zeke, me, etc.. ) have contributed directly to Public Beta #2 and #3 scripts and client&server.

Great news everybody! The module can now parse an INI file and customize your VC experience!
It can modify HUD position and even VC loading bar colour!

This is how the INI file looks

It's customizable, still I don't have the address for X position so there's only X scale.

Customizable fonts!

Current commands: /setfont , /setfontsize (the commands are clientside)

Setting font to something unknown won't crash your game, instead it will default to arial.

Big thanks to Juppi who helped me debug one issue and fix another.

Cool dude ! I remember that I played in 0.4 with some fonts, like rage italic, impact, pricedown :D
I really want to test them in 0.3zR2.

That means it's not released yet. You'll have to wait till I look out and get rid of any possible exploits or advantages one player could gain using my module.

This is dependent on the server, not the client. It also shouldn't happen because it screws up commands that rely on nicknames, and use spaces as separators. For example:

/ban Nickname [reason]
/ban Nickname with Spaces [reason]

There's an error in square radar.
Markers of players that are out of radar range don't appear on the edge of the radar.
I.e. you're on Starfish Island, the player is in Vice Point. I see his marker on the sea area. Like it's a squared-radar ring.

That's due to the round nature of the radar.

I guess that's what VC means by 'unused function', hhhh.
