I noticed that pressing Left/Right arrow keys was changing car colors, though I never used any command related to that.

General Discussion / Re: Suggestions for the new VC:MP Browser.

In the "Tools" board, add and an option "Configuration" that will show you the list from "vcmp_config.txt" and with the possibility to edit it. (its a very short way, and useful)

0.4 Public Beta #1 / Re: [CRASH] 0040286E
« on: July 05, 2013, 12:28:41 am »
I was trying to reproduce this bug again but it didn't crash me.
Gladly, I didn't crash in my entire game session which was more than one and a half hour long.  :P

Tried it again after a few hours, this time a stubby jump crashed me.

0.4 Public Beta #1 / Re: [CRASH] 0040286E
« on: July 04, 2013, 09:57:53 pm »
Description
Whenever any player jumps while sprinting, the game crashes. It doesn't happen with fists. It only happens while holding weapons with which you can sprint, example: all SMGs, Grenades, Pythons etc.

Reproducible
Almost every time. Jumping diagonally while sprinting crashes game 80% of the time.

What you were doing when the bug happened
Fooling around like everybody.

What you think caused the bug
Jump animation while holding weapons.

Windows 8 users.
Try changing the compatibility settings to Windows 98/ME. That worked for me.

General Discussion / Re: How does clan works actually ?
« on: June 10, 2013, 11:59:36 am »
A Clan is a community. Just like VCMP is community, clans are sub communities within VCMP.
Some clans reach out to other games as well, but most of the clans in here are based on VCMP only.

Clan has a founder/leader who decides to create the clan. The leader decides a name, creates a communication channel (could be a topic, forum, IRC channel, Skype group) and recruits members.
The members hang out with each other, have sex, rape other clans and play together as close friends. That's about it.

So you watched the entire 14 minutes?

General Discussion / Re: Copying server names .. low life guys!
« on: May 22, 2013, 11:10:12 am »
A practical solution could be that someone spreads a rumor by quoting a post from an unofficial forum, which says that someone's friend was told by a guy's brother that a dude (probably a developer called minorator) informed his friend off the records that there would be a 'Report server' button in 0.4's Masterlist. Users will be able to report a server for violating certain norms.
Then everybody calm their tits about a problem that occurs once a decade and lasts a few days. They would probably forget about it by the time 0.4 actually comes out.

Support / Re: Ping Spikes
« on: May 15, 2013, 05:11:44 pm »
I doubt any PC setting can cause a ping spike sporadically. If it was a bad setting, it would consistently raise your ping. You could check the Automatic update settings on your software and OS. Maybe one of them starts downloading some update without notifying.

Most ping problems are caused by connection(your or the server host), so make sure that the different servers you tried are not hosted by the same hosting service.

If you get a ping spike in future, do a pingtest immediately. It could be a case of your connection not being consistent.

Support / Re: Ping Spikes
« on: May 15, 2013, 02:20:45 am »
Ping spikes are usually caused due to connection problems. If you are using a wireless network, your ping would spike when your signal strength varies.

So, are you using a WiFi network?
Were you using the same connection for old PC, or was it a wired connection?

You can also check your connection at pingtest.net....make sure your jitter is low.
