hi again,
I mentioned a must be for 0.4 (http://forum.vicecitymultiplayer.com/index.php?topic=435.0 (http://forum.vicecitymultiplayer.com/index.php?topic=435.0)) before.
now i have found out a new thing.
vcmp's chatbox can include extended ascii chars. The same as samp's.
we can use extended ascii characters in samp. if we can use in vcmp,
it will be perfect. because our lanugage has chars from extended ascii.
Agreed, i hope this is fixed. If i say something in my language and forget that certain letters dont print... well, the result can sometimes be quite amusing :P
Not really needed for my language but it's a cool idea xD
There's no standard extended ASCII, it depends on the encoding...
Anyway I cannot promise that 0.4 will fix any of these issues.
I also like of SA:MP, if you press T you get the text window to type in,
in SA:MP you can with your left- and right arrow key control in it, to change a mistake in your message. :)
Yes! you are strongly right.
writing with samp's chatbox is much more easier. making mistake is harder.
also font and colors are much better. as i said before, you can use all characters in samp's chatbox. we would like vcmp's chatbox to be like samp's.
maxorator,
maybe you can ask samp team for the encoding. their chatbox characters are perfect for us. maybe this will be ready for the 0.5 or smt. else.
But please check http://forum.vicecitymultiplayer.com/index.php?topic=435.0 (http://forum.vicecitymultiplayer.com/index.php?topic=435.0) .
here this listen ip variable is real important for me.
thanks
SA:MP has also just a kind of log, all said messages not goes lost but just in a big box so u can look what players said with Page Up and Page Down.
But in VCMP messages dissapear.
