I have found a possible memory leak in the default linux server. I'm hosting a couple of vcmp servers on my dedicated server and i've recently noticed the high memory usage these servers have. One of the vcmp servers was using over 100MB of ram just a moment ago. The servers I'm hosting are using mIRC scripts so the mem leak cannot be caused by a faulty pawn script or similar.

Requesting if any of the devs could take a closer look at the matter since restarting the server frequently isnt really an option. :x The OS i'm using is Debian 5.0, I'll post more info if its needed/when i know what's needed.

Since there's a board for VC:MP clans, i might start posting here by introducing the first clan.

[Ka] is a clan, which has been around about 4 years. We aren't just a VC:MP clan, lately most of our members have been playing SA:MP or CS:S. However there has been a small group which has (or has tried to be) active in VC:MP all the time. Now we are planning to come back with greater effort: servers, recruiting new players... Since i havent had much possibilities to even play LC:MP earlier, i would like to know what it has been/is going to be compared to VC:MP? Does it have mostly the same features than VC:MP, or is it a lot different? Does it use the same rcon.dll than VC:MP (so in theory same scripts would work in both versions)?

I was making an anti-db system, which warns/kicks player after a driveby. I still need to know how to protect from a teamkill. Does a team-driveby (or other teamkill events) have different ID than usual driveby (which is 42), or even an own signal, like SIGNAL:vcmp.teamkill?

I would like to make a 24/7 server for VC:MP... but i have little problems running that

I have a host for my server, i have downloaded VC:MP 0.3z Linux server and uploaded the server files to the host. How do i proceed then? I'm quite unfamiliar with linux and ftp applications. I don't know how to run the server (vcmp.bin) and announce, what command i should use. Which FTP program is good for this?

How can i make commands in server saying text in personal message (like /msg)? I saw thing like that on one of the 0.3z beta servers. I have tried to use vcmp.pm instead of vcmp.say, but the server didn't say anything. Any ideas?
