hi guys im new to this and i have just started playing online but how do i type in text so it appears in the top lefthand corner while im playing?? ive tried typing and pressing enter but nothing happens...

you need to press ~, type then press enter

also, F7 to expand the chat, F5 to see players list and scores, F4 to toggle players names/hp on/off

depends on key setup i use the t key to talk

cheers it worked, however i have another question, how come some people take forever to kill but i always get killed straight away??

can be lag, when you press F5 you can see their ping, the higher their ping is, the more they lag. plus players with weak pc's have graphics lag.

so in most cases you have to aim ahead of them, in the direction where you think they are moving.
and to make it harder for them to hit you, learn to switch and sprint quicker, be less predictable..

play more and you will learn everything without need to ask
