Title: Peculiar problem
Post by: Charleyutton on November 27, 2010, 06:19:25 PM
I've started running VC:MP on a new computer, as my old one died. Since I've started using this one the game doesn't function quite correctly. When I press esc I can only click on things if i minimize my window and then open it up again. Then when I get off menu, it is reset. I also can't spawn with my lmb, I have to use ctrl. It also won't allow me to look where I want (the aim is in a fixed position).

I've tried playing around with the controls, toggling them between standard and classic. I've also changed the buttons I use for various actions to no avail. I reinstalled VC and VC:MP and still I have the same problem.

I get that occasionally. I press esc (pause menu) move the mouse and then tap esc again. That seems to fix the mouse stick problem.

Its a common problem to GTA:VC on Vista and 7. No idea what causes it though, i used to rarely have it but now i get it everytime i run vc.

Very annoying :(

Hmm, I'm on XP though :s

But yeah as Klaus said pressing esc a few times seems to fix it temporarily.

Nihil novi, as VR said. This bug is probably also on singe player, but it is not so annoying. Esc won't help much, because then you can get a black screen and VC will be frozen which means more trouble playing with CTRL ALT DEL. The easiest way is imo Alt Tab the game.

Oddly enough, this problem dissapeared when I installed the latest MTAVC beta.
