get xfire, you can talk to your mates and take pics and also record at the same time. (download here (http://www.xfire.com/download/))

Fraps is good. I used Fraps for making my VCMP beta gameplay's [3 vids for now]. It records in the highest resolution of VC, but u must close ALL programs [messenger, web browser] otherwise Fraps will lag ur game and the Fraps record will be pure shi* ;).

Then your computer is obviously not compatible with Fraps. Fraps is one of the most commonly used programs to record gameplay. Try re-installing it, maybe that'll help!

Fraps is best
because i got the unregisted code and u can have it
so thats the 30sec recording problem
you only need a registed fraps

go for camstudio or gamecam. u also got wegame but it requiers to register like on xfire.
