hi

here's my server config

echo Executing Server Config...
lanmode 1
maxplayers 32
rcon_password xxx
port 5196
rcon_port 5196
hostname [*DS*] Desert Storm Clan Server
gamemode0 mode 1
password xxx
filterscripts
rcon_max_users 9

the server shows up on the browser, but there is no password on it. how can i set a password on my server?

im running a linux server and the newest version

It is not currently possible to set the password afaik.

If you use "password pass" line in server.cfg, the server will appear unlocked and will provide no way of entering the password. Nevertheless, once you connect to it, you are told that your password (which you had no means of entering) is incorrect.

Confirmed on Win's Pawn server.
