Hello, I played VC:MP for a period of around a year, a while ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I played on a server called NoN (Now Or Never) silly name I know, but the server was so much fun, I had countless hours of enjoyment there.
I wondered if anyone could tell me if any traces of NoN still exist, or even if there is still a running server.
I stopped playing for around a month, because I had exams at school, and then when I cam back I couldn't find the server in the list, and the forums seemed dead. Took me ages to find a still active forum, that is in someway connected to NoN.
My Vice city and my VC:MP no longer work, but if I get a positive reply to this post I would make an effort to restore them.
Any Information would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: The Main Admin was called Alec. He owned the server, and the forums.

ahh, well very disappointing.
I did know Alarba, but not very well.
I would love it if NoN came back, but I doubt it will.
Does anyone know of any other RPG VC:MP servers that have an active player base? Not Argonath I am banned there (For being associated with NoN). Are there any VC:MP RPG servers worth playing anymore?

Yes, there are many players.
The server is under-going the making of a new script, so the server is up and down ATM

Yeah i do, Most i've seen these days are 4, and they are just admins trying to get players to the server. Which fails

After the last moderator (TriX) was appointed, some topics had to be unlocked back due to many user complaints. Looks like exactly the same case.
Locking topics on a barely active forum is not a good idea really.
Considering the total number of regulars in vcmp, 4 aint a bad amount.
Imo, 2 is enough in a server to call it "multiplayer".

Heh, my bet is that Thijn would do a better job at moderating than any of the current moderators on the forum, including myself.

Glad to hear you enjoyed playing NoN while it was up ;). Unfortunately I just don't have the time (or the inclination, really) to keep running the server on VC-MP or any other GTA MP mod.

jajaja ye I remember those good times alec :). You had the best developed server with the most advanced scripts by far. I liked the while online car buying system etc. Good times :)
