Thank you for replying, but i didnt need it me and my coffee and a few hours got me through this situation!

All i did was downloaded a 1.0.exe and replaced it in my gta:vc folder then started up gta:vc and it works w000t! hours on end of playing comming my way now!

Also been sat here trying to do some scripting for gta3, Fun eh?! :p

Hello peeps, only just signed up to this forum seen some of the problems on this forum and the response is really good! Hoping someone can help me too, but anyways lets get onto the problem!

I have got gta:vc HOWEVER i have downloaded it and installed it via a games client company called STEAM, hopefully someone will have heard of them or even using them at the min, I have installed the vc:mp and also managed to get server up and running on the list, even got it to start up my gta:vc when clicking on a server, now the only problem is the game starts up gets past a few begining screens and vids and then it stops. After further looking i realised it was because it was bringing up an error messege saying "Incorrect gta-vc.exe version detected. You must use GTA:VC 1.0 to play VC:MP" Thats my only problem and i hope someone can help!
