About Vice City and running VCMP

I might have had the "not so legal" version of Vice City and I might had No-CD crack and then VCMP didn't work. I told about that prob and I discovered that ware-versions don't work. If I buy a legal one from Steam, will it work? Or do I have to buy a physical version...?

Well don't care about history, the basic question is that does VCPM work with Vice City bought of from steam?

It should do as long as you have the right version.... 1.0 i think? Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Nop, steam's version wont work. Since it will automaticly update your version to the 1.1 one.

And it has GCF, which aren't supported.
