Incorrect version.

Well my problem is plain and simple VC:MP used to work perfectly fine but since I updated it with the "critical update" any server I try to join indicates I have an "Incorrect version and therefore cant connect"  Ive gotten rid of the files and everything and tried to get it all clean and new on 0.3 but it still says Im using an incorrect version could anyone please tell me if I can change this or if there is something I need to uninstall and reinstall. Any help would be appreciated since ive been screwing around with this problem for about 5 hours now.
