Hey There!,

Well I am a little retired from VC:MP now i am developing a SAMP RP SERVER, MYSQL based, and there, the point is that I notice that in SA:MP there isn´t a /kill command, we need to script it by ourself.

In VC:MP we can easily evade someone kill us, -_-, simply typing /kill, with /kill in ALL SERVERS you can kill yourself and re-spawn at that location that you want...

I SUGGEST TO REMOVE THE INBUILD COMMAND /KILL is unnecessary, if we wanna have /kill command, WE ARE SCRIPTERS, we can script that simple command.

That´s my opinion, and hope you to share the same.

I'm pretty sure as of the moment there are no hard coded / commands such as /kill. These will have to be scripted in as you wish.  ;)

So for example, you will be able to script in the /kill command and perhaps do some other things such as freeze the player and add a delay of 5-10 seconds before the player's health is set to 0 that's all possible I'm pretty sure.  :)

Nope, just tested /kill and it's hard-coded.

well, I'm thinking it the best would be do the same as for example in the messages of (Timeout), (Quit). well when a player died, the server says: " + player.Name + " died and if is drowned, " + player.Name + " drowned. then you guys can put if is /kill
" + player.Name + " died (Kill)

Ok, i will evade with scripted one too, what if you are bugged want to change skin and there is no /kill scripted then you gonna rejoin server for change skin, or you will ask player for kill me? ???

I suggest when we do /kill we die in 5-10 sec?

they fixed that in 0.4 so no more bugs i guess.
if you guys don't want to remove that then please add different msg for that cmd.

if i do /kill, then message will show ingame "Voyboy died (/kill/sucide") like that ?
or "Voyboy died using (/kill)"
then it will be easy for server owners to catch death evaders.

There are still ways to get stuck in the game. What I could do is let the server set the timeout for kill (for example between 0 to 10 seconds).

And it already tells the server that the player has committed suicide.

I think a better way is to have an option in the server to enable or disable the hard-coded kill command.
Also it would be much better if we have to script join/quit/kill messages ourselves, it will make servers more unique.

This is already implemented in 0.4 though.
