For everybody who hates the rain drops in VC-MP 8):
I made a patch (a long time ago) that deletes them out of the game. You can download it under following link:
http://www.geocities.com/theprogrammer14/GTA (http://www.geocities.com/theprogrammer14/GTA)
Just replace your original particle.cfg in your Data folder with the one contained in the zip file.
Hope you won't see any raindrops.
PS: I already reported this at gtaforums.com. This is the link to the topic:

Takes away a lot of particles that might lag your game.
Just put it in the C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City\data folder.
EDIT: Link fixed

It's just a patch...

Now the right words have been highlighted. :D

As I said, it's just a patch. And this patch doesn't give me any advantages (like the minigun or more health 8)). It's just kicking the damn raindrops out of the game. And so Vc-mp shouldn't be played without it if you don't won't to go into a psychiatry after playing it. ;D
-
Well, that's what I meant, it's not a trainer nor cheat nor does it give any advantage. That was what I was trying to point out. ;D

Are there no problems with this in 0.3z?
Because you have then a /setweather command
-
Yeah, no problems.
