I need to make my server visible for people, but i don't have a router, i have modem connection.
Thanks for yor time.
-
Your server won't be visible to you in internet list so ask your friends if its listed or not.
Go to this link and search for "forward"

Uhm, this is for DSL connection, i can't find anything related to modem connection, the broadband stuff :/..

http://portforward.com/
Have you tried that link ?
How do you connect to the internet ?
-
Yeah i did, it contains info about DSLs and not broadband modems.
I connect with broadband modem.

Use cmd in the run box, then type ipconfig.

Thijn, that's what i did and showed that..
USB Dongle, how can i forward ports with it?
-
taht's easy
*cough* that's*
open
192.168.1.1 in your browser and find port forwarder
-
Brother, this is a USB Modem, not a router, so naturally that ip won't work.
I need a way to forward ports on that.
-
Go to Run -> type cmd -> ipconfig
In that command window, copy the default gateway IP.
Try to open it in a browser.
Hope that works.
-
That's what i did, it shows the cmd prompt and then it disappears in the same moment..
-
It won't disappear if you type don't ipconfig in run window.
or
You can use cmd.exe in system32 folder of System root.
