Title: A Non-English Board?
Post by: Franklin on January 25, 2014, 04:41:24 pm
Well, as sebby said:
Well, this forum is so quiet... I am almost happy when I see a new post.

1. a non-english board would be good as currently many players of vc:mp only can speak their natal language ( dominicans, argentines, brazilians, pakistanis, etc ), if we have a board for this, can contribute with the forum activity.

2. Each player create his forum with his language because the users of his country cannot talk in english. vc:mp cannot be so divided :/

Maybe, but just about individual boards that contains only questions/unclear things, so no scripts/news/other stuff published just in that board.

Everything else than questions and information about how to play, should be on the main forum.

Vice City Multiplayer is an international mod. Therefore, English is used. Plus, it is already stated in the rules. If I recall right, there is a similar question to this asked before.

It's the same for the users for write in english. a question? do you think that the staff will put a board for example in russian, when don't have guys that can speak in that language.

I can say samp is a international mod like vcmp but in samp we can get support in others languages.

I'm going to reword this point: many players create their own forums using their native languages because they feel far more comfortable talking in them instead of English. Which is valid.

Some people don't have time for that.

I support this idea.

I have the time (not very), one of these days I was thinking of creating a forum for Brazilians, so they would learn better  :D

Ha !
Look at my suggestion, the answer is pretty clear.
Was a time when I wanted that off-topic board, but not anymore.

if the vcmp servers are supporting the multi-language then why we not? and more now when we have many latin players without a basic knowledge of english.

By Creating new boards for each Country ?

By Creating new boards for each Country ?

obviously NO.

we can have a category for A Non-English and in this category the language board and inside this the language proposed by the community in sub boards.

I think it this can help more to the community than have boards for the official servers that are currently closed (better would be have a private board for the staff for archive these boards).

The spanish speakers occupy approx the 30 or 40% of vcmp players, maybe until more.
