Title: Really need help guys...

Okay, i did everything correctly, installed vcmp in my gta folder and all that but when i click a server on the list, my regular Vice City starts up, not multiplayer just the regular Vice City. WTF did i do wrong?

you need to get a 1.0 gta-vc.exe

don't ask for it here. google is your friend.
