Hello, my SERIOUS problem is: i cant connect to any servers. I have an original retail version with the install and play discs. When i connect to a server, the intros go on and when they finish the original startup screen with the cover art pics and the information (what year it was made and so on), it just crashes at the screen! Help pls? I have no mods installed.

http://prntscr.com/28msyo that is what i get if i look at the info

Try going into Documents\GTA Vice City Files (or whatever it is named, I don't remember entirely) and renaming gta-vc.set to gta-vc.set.old. Try connecting to a server and see if the issue persists.
-
Exactly the same, does nothing. It persists... any other tips?

I can't see exactly what error you're getting right now because I'm behind a firewall that's blocking image hosts. When I get home I'll take a closer look at it.

Ok, thank you very much for trying to help me! I appreciate that!

Do you have the original main.scm? Otherwise it may cause a crash.
-
main.scm? what's that? (sorry im a noob in tech) Btw, i have the vanilla version.. retail. not steam

I'm guessing you're running Windows XP with a custom skin; I can't make out much from the error given, though. Try the following and see if the problem is resolved:
- Change gta-vc.exe's settings to run in compatibility mode for Windows 2000.
- Make absolutely sure that the directory you installed VC:MP to is the same folder as Vice City itself.
- Launch a game using VRocker's modified server browser. (http://vcmp.liberty-unleashed.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2.0)
- Reinstall Vice City from scratch, then reinstall Vice City: Multiplayer from scratch.

Does not work :'( tried everything and yes i have Windows XP SP3, with a custom theme.

Remove mods. ;)
/edit: Oops, sorry. :D
