Title: Miami artwork - Little Havana Restaurant
Post by: sseebbyy on October 03, 2013, 11:18:11 pm
Today I just watched again at the movie "Scarface: The World Is Yours" .
(the Vice City idea that R* stolen from the movie and made their own story ?)

I saw there a nice Miami artwork in Little Havana Restaurant, and I want to share it with you
:P

Rockstar never actually stole anything. Every GTA game made (Not sure about 1 and 2) has influences from movies, tv series and such from a specific decade. In Vice City's case the decade would obviously be the 80's and the most remarkable influences being Scarface, Miami Vice and Carlito's Way.

Cool artwork by the way :)

Carlito's Way.

hmm... I didn't saw that movie. I will watch it soon :)

By the way, what you said looks pretty logic, my mistake then.

OMG, I saw Scarface so many times, horrible long but fucking great movie. If I remember Ken Rosenberg character is from Carlito's Way (apart from the fact, that "our" Ken doesn't look after chicks :D).

Exactly, Rockstar didn't steal anything. They based on the 80s. Did you know that Lance Vance is voiced by a guy from "Miami Vice"?

Actually, I really don't...

Until yesterday I thought that Vice City is just a fail copy of Scarface (the game)... I knew that Scarface was released before Vice City, and R* just copied it, but just yesterday I saw that Vice City was the first one.

I'm learning new stuff these days as I see  :D

PS: I'm gonna watch Carlito's Way now :)
