The skin problem is a bug in 0.3z.

Great, that server you tried to join is having connection problems atm. If you try another server it should work.

Yea it should be in the gta folder. If you still cant find it, try the following;
1. Start > Search > All files and folders
2. Then type the filename in the box: d3d8.dll
3. Search

Make sure you don't have the Speedometer mod. DLL name "d3d8.dll"
Delete it or save it some where else.

Ah, lol sry i said it the other way around. Add the setmarker cmd under the join signal, so when somebody joins it does setmarker. Thats the only way you can use it like that atm.

Set maker only works when you join or rejoin the server. It will not show when you are in the server and active it.

The skins shouldn't be bugged because of windows server. I used them before on my windows server but not all at once. I might go and try it.

Locate your VC folder using the vc-mp browser. Tools > Settings > VC installation location > Browse. If that doesnt work, delete the "d3d8.dll" for  the speedometer mod in your VC folder.
