Dear maxorator, if the development of the new version will last for at least another month, I think you lost many the "servers". Because no one would have needed a new version of a "hundred years".

Look who's talking. I remembered a post by someone(stormeus or maxorator. Can't recall) saying that the first stage of the 0.4 development was in fact a modified version of the 0.3z R2 code. However, because the code got very messed up, maxorator decided to rewrite the whole code for a better gameplay with much more functions. If you think coding is easy, especially by yourself and having less time on the computer, think again. To all those who are forcing maxorator to speed up his work, here is my challenge to you. Learn C++ and start coding your own MULTIPLAYER on your own from scratch and tell me how long did it take..

If 0.4 cannot be released in a timely fashion, the very least that should be done is releasing a version that:

• Closes these exploits
• Fixes broken Pawn functions

Of course, those who just found this thread might not know what's going on because I've removed the links to the exploits in question. Nevertheless, the links have been saved for the dev/beta team.

Everything is almost ready, release!

4 or more years can not get out.
You just need to release and all will be well!

No new videos, screenshots.
maxorator is not writing in a programming language assembler!

Please, release at a stage at which it is.
Otherwise the project will be dead...

For "Closes these exploits" - maxorator need update raknet library and rewrite some functions... (5 minuts) - already do it...
"Fixes broken Pawn functions" - already fix.

Developer has all to release.

Remote code execution exploits that are too severe to be in public hands. Which brings me to my next point,

DO NOT POST SERVER EXPLOITS PUBLICLY.
Send them to a beta tester for documentation.

Have you ever tried playing an unstable game? A game that will crash every time you go to a particular place or mission? I know I have and won't tell you what game it is. VC:MP 0.4 is something like that. Maxorator is a real human with a real life not some developer who has a lot of time on the computer like Mark Zuckerberg. Although you have seen great screenshots and test video, those are just really test not the real deal. Just be patience and the VC:MP 0.4 will be better than the current buggy 0.3z R2. Unless you still want a client as same buggy as 0.3z R2.

Basically this. We're a team of volunteers that do testing and development on our own free time.

there's no point hiding it here and pretend that the problem does not exist when all of these programs and expoits are freely available on other sites, you just use the search in Google

We're not saying that the problem doesn't exist. We're just saying that we don't want a hundred noobs trying to unban themselves from every single Pawn server.
