Loading error.. VC client wrong?

This is my first time ever in Vice City Multiplayer and once I tryed to connect to server 0.3Z it loaded and than gave this error:

I do have a downloaded version of vice city so I don't know if that could be a problem, further no mods or cheats added..

Pakito: Install 0.3x before 0.3z. Cole had same problem. And this trick 'saved his ass'.

The error is gone now, I somehow installed something to another place and it worked but now it gives the error which is already being discussed in the other topic about the wrong version...

Could it be because of a downloaded version of gta vice city?

I installed Vice City on my Notebook and copied everything on a portable harddrive. Then I copied everything on my older Computer and tried to start it. First it seemed to me that everything worked fine, but than I got the same message "you are using an incorrect version" and pressing f5 showed me version 0.3x . But I installed version 0.3z what shall I do.

ok, i have a better version of Vice City now..
I've tryed VC-MP 3.0x, that works normally (apart from crashes i get every 5 minutes)
so i'll just stick with that..

Yes I agree with you Ravii. Version 0.3x is stabel and it works. So I will continue playing it. Hope the development will  continue so that  I can play a new VC-MP version one day.

There were only beta-tests of 0.3z. As you saw this version isn't ready for now.
What version of GTA VC do you have? 1.0 or 1.1?

I think version 1.0 (I downloaded the fixed exe for version 0.3), but how can I find this out exactly?

Your games version is determined by your gta-vc.exe , nothing else.

Download VCLimitAdjuster - http://www.1337mb.com/gulk/vclimitadjuster-1.0.zip
(Right Click > Save As..)

I think it can find your .exe version, not sure.
