need help here!!!

ok i downloaded the game and the vc:mp things, and i open vc:mp, and all the servers come up, so i click on one, and the game starts up and it goes to the screen where it says gta vice city and all that, then it crashes after 2 seconds and says: gta has encountered a problem and needs to close, we are sorry for the inconvenience.

i have no idea what i did wrong, but im really really confused, this happens with every server i click on..

To the problem: have you already checked the FAQ? Especially, have you patched your GTA:VC? VC:MP works only with VC 1.0.
