i have a problem :(

Well, i installed gta vc and the vc-mp client. When i select a server and click on 'connect' the first screen of singleplayer comes up and my game freezes and i have to close it with the task manager. After it closes i get this

If you know how to fix it tell me please. I never played vc-mp before, and wanted to start with it but i have this problem

i dont have mods and what is VRockers?

Anyways, after running in it windows 98 it stopped showing up those errors but i still cant play mutiplayer =(

d3d8.dll in VC? Anyway reinstall. Make sure \GTA VC\ is empty. Sonst sollte alles laufen :p.

GTA VC version is 1.0 or 1.1? As I know VCMP works only with 1.0 so you need to search google for "vice city 1.0 exe".

If you bought the game in the last years, then you have 1.1. Anyway search in google for 1.0 exe and replace it.

there is a fix out here on forums if single player is launched instead of multiplayer

and Henry....i play vc-mp on windows 7 ultimate x64 with no problems....just those error msgs after i close client but for that you can use Vrockers unofficial browser which is here on forums

Just change the compatibility of vc-mp.exe to windows 98/ windows me, and then restart

dont know why it doesn't work for some of you, it works for me, i have windows 7.. it aint happening now...
