Stuck on connecting

When I try to run VC-MP on an official server (like littlewhitey's) then it always gets stuck on connecting. And since it's really annoying to be not able to play a game, I am now asking for help on this.

I currently use VC 1.0, installed in default directory (C:\Program Files\R* Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City) and VC-MP is installed under C:\vcmp

you should install vc-mp into Vice City Directory.

C:\Program Files\R* Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City

make sure you are installing the lastest version: 0.3z R2

Do I need a seperate installation if I want LC-MP?

LC-MP stopped. no one play it anymore.
forget LC-MP.

just install vc-mp.

LC-MP is no longer developed, but a few people play it, they have made also a LCMP r2 mod with latest LC mod engine released last year.
