you mean the source code? noone oficial will give you help there...
but i can tell you, you need microsoft visual c++ 6,0 or newer, and open the vcmp.dsw in there. but there is a readme in there aswell.
bit complex that readme, but im sure its understandable if you use visual studio.

if u look at the title, its mIRC tut. not vcmp server tut.
anyway, if i understand corectly, u mean a bug, that when u choose class, at times, the skin freezes to the same skin. well, thats using special skins with normal ones. i dont know where the line is precisely, but i think its somewhere round 120.

btw, i dont have any knowledge of setting classes color. i dont think it possible, but of course, it wasnt me who programmed it.

you mean, how to set skins for classes? well thats not mirc im afraid, thats config.ini
syntax is:

now, how does the script know who to give the property to? these no vcmp.name of any similiar

Only if your using the current rcon.dll
if you use the other one (old) then it will work.

sorry, but this is a tutorial for irc scripting, not editing tommis's gus.
you are right, i should have mentioned aliases
and at the time of creation, the tut was correct.
and you can still use it with the old rcon dll. so theres nothing

thats kinda probable
thing is, i just copied out most of he scripts from gus, replaced strings and stuff. i never bothered bout the variables lying round. but now.. i see the point.

@ delpozov. the problem is, rcon doesnt know the class, so u cant script that.

but there is always a way.

on spawn, check players location. that way u know where player spawns, so u might be able to figure out the skin. that way, just right into an ini the current team mates, and on the goto, check if destination player is in the ini.

theres ann EDIT button. you should use it.
for rcon dll, dl the gus scripts from here
dl the whole script, then dl the version 10 mrc, and overwrite the one in the zip.

besides, the most things are created automatically, only rcon, procinfo, vcmp.ini vcmp.data.ini are really required

so u say u have scripting skills eh?

well, oficial server tend to have the following, so if u wanna be oficial, do these (you still will only be oficial, if the dev want it.)
be online 24/7 hav ur own script have a static ip.
u then need a great group of admins, like have an admin online 80% of time.
u would need to keep this up for a few months, then, perhaps
besides, what makes ur server so special?

if u want to use the server with mates, just send them ur ip, and they will add to favorites, so they can connect. if u want it public, double click announce if it doesnt go public.

sounds very weird.. but the pause menu is buggy for sure.
i was wondering on a mirc script for this, a brb command, would frreze the player, and  set players hp to 999. on back, set hp to original, and unfreeze. but i suppose this is gonna get solved some time anyway.

seems to me, your server is working, you just can see it.
tip 1.: know your ip and then add it to favorites. check if the server browser finds it. if it says "retrieving info" then it cant see it. check ports etc.

you say scripts are working right? well, if they were working, on the server, you would see a rcon admin connected line. which i dont see on the pic.
