Could you specify a little more?

If you want to create your own houses, 'customized', you can't, since R2 does not support objects so far. If you want a property system, try downloading GUPS (It has one if I recall correctly).

What NC said. Anyways, isn't gta-lc.asi from... GTA III? My guess is you have installed mods on your vice city. Try reinstalling, if so.

Err I have the same problem, I can see my server in the masterlist and on favourites, but I can't join even if I'm trying to join from-to my own IP. Only thing I can say is you to connect from "localhost"/"127.0.0.1"  :(

Hmm that's weird, never happened to me. Are you sure you have the latest client? I guess it's either that or VC:MP isn't installed in the right path.

that does the same thing as installing it in the default VC folder lol
When I installed it for first time it kept showing error messages and that's the way I fixed it :P

If what Thijn said doesn't fix the issue, try installing it in a new folder (IE: C:\VCMP), copy and paste everything in your actual VC folder, by default C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto Vice City
