i tryed connect to a room but this came on i dont know what its asking for???

ok i think i found what it was looking for now i click a hostname. now it takes me to the GTA VC game....but it doesnt take me to the Multiplayer mode what do i do know?

yea thats what i did...it runs my GTA disk but it wont take me to GTA MP?

Make sure when you installed VC-MP that you installed it into your GTA: VC directory.

cool thanks did that..but it still taking me to single player.... is there some kind of patch for that??

Make sure you don't have the Speedometer mod. DLL name "d3d8.dll"
Delete it or save it some where else.

umm where would that be located in the gta file? i look every where but i could have miss looked....

Yea it should be in the gta folder. If you still cant find it, try the following;
1. Start > Search > All files and folders
2. Then type the filename in the box: d3d8.dll
3. Search

You are not allowed to use .dll files with VCMP.
Search in your VC folder and remove all dll files.

There is a reason why the developers ask you to install VCMP on a clean VC installation...

alright cool guys were making progress here lol...i finally got to get in the game but it wont let me move it just freeze's here...and it wont let me do anything??? what should i do??

Great, that server you tried to join is having connection problems atm. If you try another server it should work.
